Carol asks…Do you think that our computer and cell-phone based economy has ruined real innovation, especially in the U.S.?Based on how fast we advanced from, say 1900 to approximately 1973 .after that, we went down hill.
I would argue that computers have done very little to advance our culture, technology, or society. I am not impressed when people tell me we can now fit exponentially more f-ing transisters on a silicon chip. Who cares. Billions and billions of dollars down the drain. NASA
